This is another one of those daily paintings where I accidentally used too much medium (linseed oil) that it was difficult to get good edges. So I painted a second layer and I think it looks better now.

I tried out a smoother painting board for “Three Tomatoes” which I made by sanding the last layer of gesso. I’m not sure if I like painting on this any better than on the unsanded board. I will have to try it out some more before I conclude anything, but the paint did feel so much more fluid on it.
