I painted this lotus flower for the April challenge on James Parker’s Windows to the Words. It took me a few more hours to finish than usual, but I had a lot of fun with it. I especially enjoyed painting the reflections in the water.
More Windows to the Words…
The “For the Birds” challenge back in March was at the same time a contest with prizes.
My bluebird painting above won 2nd place and I received these two lovely paintings by James Parker. I am actually glad I wound up second because I am thrilled to own them both! Thank you, Mr. Parker!
