Here is one more painting of those pink and violet clouds.

On another note, I finally gave up with all the spam comments I receive every single day so I spent some time yesterday to look for a solution. I installed a plugin which adds a word verification feature just like the one in Blogger. As much as I hate to add this inconvenience, it just seemed that I was getting more and more spam everyday. Anyway, I would still love to hear from you, so I hope you will not mind this. If you encounter any problems when you leave a comment, please let me know. Thank you!

I have always been fascinated with clouds, especially when it’s sunset and they take on a lot of different colors. These pink and violet clouds remind me so much of cotton candy.

I’m still one daily painting behind on this blog as I wasn’t able to post last Christmas day. I’ll make up for that today by posting two. This first one is a landscape — it’s a painting of the road just outside my grandfather’s home in the country.

Life’s been busy the past few weeks so I am very sorry for the somewhat irregular postings. There are days when I am able to spend some time on the computer and post, but there are days when there just isn’t enough time. I am still painting and completing one everyday though, and I haven’t missed one day yet (thankfully!). Anyway, here is one more landscape painting. This one is a bit bigger than the others. I like how small the figure is because I think it gives the painting a “panoramic” feel.

I’ve always been fascinated with the sky and clouds. For a long time, I’ve wanted to do a painting featuring cloud formations. I never got around to it because I couldn’t think of anything to paint below the sky. The small format of daily paintings seemed suitable though so I was finally able to convince myself to paint one even without anything else beneath.

I originally wanted to paint just clouds, but a couple of airplanes flew by and I decided to include one. I didn’t notice it before but I think I broke a rule by placing it in the center of the composition.
