Looking Back: Cheese Sandwich

Cheese Sandwich Oil Painting

Daily Painting #265 – Cheese Sandwich

Oil painting on gessoed matboard
Approximately 5 x 7 inches — 13 x 18 cm

Before I post another new painting, here’s an older one from the 365 daily paintings. It was one of my favorites and still is. There is something about the dark green background that I find very appealing and I will likely be using it again in future paintings.

I can see why this is a favorite. Not only the dark background (which is effective) but the texture on the bread is amazing. I’ve been following your work for awhile. You are very talented.

I have always admired this painting, Faith, especially your rendering of the bread slices. Surely you must have spent more than a day on this one! lol!

    Beautiful work, as always!

    All the best,
