I had a hard time making the colors look accurate on the computer screen. The background is actually much softer and lighter than it appears here.

Faith, I love both this painting and the one below. Masterful painting!
Say, I noticed that stack of cookies was down to a 1/2 eaten one! They look delicious so I don’t blame you for eating your Still Life.

Ms. Gwen, thanks! Actually I set aside 5 or 6 of the cookies for painting and eat the rest
. They get kind of soft after a few hours outside the jar so I just use the same ones over and over.
