I love this composition. I also like the green against the burnt sienna background. I think I will do another one like this in the future but with red chili peppers instead.
REFERENCE PICTURES: Green Chili Peppers
A few weeks before I began doing a painting a day, I took a good number of pictures which I planned to use for reference. Well, I ended up painting mostly from life, using photographs only on occasion. The pictures were helpful for visualizing compositions and lighting though. Here are some of the more interesting shots:
