This is the second daily painting today since I missed posting yesterday.
I wanted to try something “creative”. I taped a branch of grape vine to a piece of paper and drew in the grapes with red marker pens. I was thinking along the lines of trompe l’oeil.
The challenge was to make the leaves and the branch look very realistic in order to make the outline of the grapes look like they were just drawn and not part of the “real” branch.

I love this concept, it’s brilliant and beautifully painted. I’d love to see more of this idea .. maybe a series, it’s great 🙂
