The leftover green paint that I mixed for the bluebird painting was used for the background here (mixed with a little bit more blue and red to darken). I don’t know why, but there is something about this shade of green that I really like. It looks so much more contemporary than the earthy colors I usually use, but I love it. I hope you like it too!

    I like it! It has a luminous quality about it, like Prussian Green. Wonderful orange as well, it looks very juicy!

    The colors are actually the first thing that I noticed. I think you struck a sharp balance between a greenish blue that complements the orange while providing a strong contrast. Its a good effect.
