I apologize for the glare in the image above. I had a very difficult time taking a photo of it and it’s still not dry enough to scan. I will replace it with a better one when it is available.

I also made a video slideshow of the painting for Daily Painter Originals‘ recently launched Video blog. I hope you like it!

    Thank you for your kind words, everyone! I’ll try to make videos more often and, hopefully, have some with commentary regarding what colors were used, etc.

    Ms. Susan — I used four brushes: A flat #4 brush, a round #4, another round #0 and a tiny #000 brush for the details. All are synthetic. I’m not sure if those numbers mean anything though as I’m not using name brands and they may not be standard. The flat brush is just a little less than 1/2 inch wide.

    Darlene, thanks! The name of the song is “Valse Parisienne” by Ian Hughes. It’s a song I picked out from YouTube’s AudioSwap gallery.
