Year-End Painting Giveaway!!

I haven’t been giving my blog attention for most of the year due to several personal issues that came up. In spite of that, however, I am surprised that people still continue to visit, leave comments or buy my paintings.

As a small way of saying thank you for your support, I will be giving away one of my paintings. The winner can choose their favorite from among the five seven paintings below:

If you would like to win one of these paintings, all you have to do is leave a comment at the end of this post…just a simple “I want to join” will do! Only those who have left comments will be entered in the draw. Everyone is encouraged to participate, even those who only silently read this blog!

Simple enough to enter, right?

But to show my appreciation to you who follow my posts by e-mail, Google Friend Connect or Facebook, I will also be giving additional chances of winning. So in addition to your comment, you will have additional entries if you do one or two or all three of the following (this means that each person can have their name up to 4 times in the bowl!):

  1. Subscribe to receive blog posts by e-mail (found at the top of the sidebar).
  2. Follow my blog via Google Friend Connect. Also found on the sidebar and it looks like this:
  3. Like my Facebook page.

Please leave your comments before 12 PM, January 4, 2012 (Philippine time / Convert time). All entries will be gathered in a little glass bowl and a winner will be randomly chosen by my brother, David. The winner will be announced later in the evening and notified by e-mail.

That’s it! I hope you are as excited about this as I am. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks very much for your support!!

Hi faith, I looked at more of your excellent work and I think it is on a level of many of the excellent artists such as Henri Fantin-Latour, my favorite, and other artists of this era. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work and signed up to see what you come up with next. I completed 15 paintings in 2010 and pulled back in 2011 to focus on other hobbies. Your work has inspired me to go back to the things I like best…still life.

I told my students in the Senior Center Painting class about you and gave them you site.

    Best wishes, Don

  18. Shankar Narayana Says:

I don’t want to boot on your paintings just like that, but I can surely make out that every person who is interested in painting will have a strong touch at a first look of your painting. Say suppose, a beginner will feel interested in looking at your paintings and try to practice it to find some of the great strokes that you made, similarly for an intermediate. When an artist looks at it, I am sure that he/she will enjoy seeing some of your experiments, style, topics, now you look at the things and so on….

  19. sarah Says:
