This is my first time to paint strawberries. They are quite expensive and not very common in our area. These little strawberries were perfect models and they smelled so sweet!

By the way, red seems to be this week’s theme. Hope you enjoy the new paintings and thank you all so much for your comments! They are all greatly appreciated!

This is another one of those daily paintings where I accidentally used too much medium (linseed oil) that it was difficult to get good edges. So I painted a second layer and I think it looks better now.
